End-to-end virtual verification and validation of vehicle automation systems

Road vehicle automation functions, both in the field of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) as well as automated vehicles (AVs), require extensive testing for verification of the requirements and validation of the resulting functionality. To reduce testing costs and time, Siemens develops a toolchain for virtual verification and validation adopting a scenario-based approach, aiming to significantly decrease the number of real-world tests.
