Welcome to the enhanced Verification Academy 2.0 forums!

By Dave Rich

We’ve recently enhanced the Verification Academy, moving to an all new platform. The Verification Academy is the industry’s leading resource to help you learn how to develop the skills and techniques to advance your organization’s functional verification process. It offers in-depth learning resources on topics such as UVM, cookbooks UVM and coverage, formal verification, test planning, and coverage analysis. It also provides forums where you can ask questions and get answers from industry peers on these verification topics. We’ve optimized the site for better viewing on a wide variety of devices, including mobile phones and tablets.

Renewing Your Membership

If you are a previous user of the site, one of the first things you see is a new registration/login process. We have implemented a password-less system that sends an authentication code to your current email address. The authentication code is valid on your browser for 60 days. You can set up a recovery email address when registering or in your profile in case you lose access to your primary email. If you previously posted in the forums and want to keep your username on the new forum site but no longer have access to the email address you used to register on the old site, please contact us to recover your username.

Customizing Your Forum Experience

The forum has a new settings feature that you can access in a separate forum profile area. You can now get email notifications when new posts arrive in specific categories, tags, or topics (Watched), or get visual cues when you are on the site (Tracked). These are all turned off by default. If you are a frequent forum user, you will probably want to change these settings by visiting the forums page, press your avatar circle in the upper right corner to get a pulldown menu, and then select the profile icon (1) followed by Preferences(2). Once on the preferences page, select the Tracking tab(3). From there you can select watched(4) categories and tags with email notifications.
