The Automotive Testing Expo Europe, the world’s largest exhibition dedicated to automotive testing technologies, is returning to Stuttgart and Siemens is excited to be part of it once again.

From June 23 to June 25, 2026, more than 400 exhibitors and thousands of automotive professionals will gather at Messe Stuttgart to explore the latest innovations in automotive testing, development and validation. The event brings together OEMs, suppliers and engineers from around the globe, creating a unique environment to exchange ideas, discover new technologies and collaborate with peers across the automotive testing community.

Drive development with confidence

In automotive engineering, the pursuit of perfection is increasingly constrained by time, cost pressures, and rapidly evolving customer expectations. Physical prototypes—once the backbone of development—are now a bottleneck, limiting design exploration due to their cost, time requirements, and lack of flexibility.

Simcenter Physical Testing helps automotive engineers test earlier, smarter, and faster—with fewer physical prototypes. By combining physical and virtual testing in an integrated, modular performance engineering strategy, Simcenter enables teams to validate innovations more efficiently and with greater confidence.

Join Siemens at the forefront of automotive innovation as we pave the way toward a future where physical prototypes are no longer the norm. Find our solutions at our booth (Hall 1 – Booth #1930) and talk with the experts. Attend our Innovation Showcase presentation during the expo to find out more about how you can test earlier, smarter and faster!

Whatever you do, don’t miss out on the Innovation Showcase presentations! This year’s Simcenter speaker is Eric Sorber, Industry Specialist for automotive NVH testing at Siemens Digital Industries Software. In his role, Eric follows innovative and emerging measurement technologies, with a dedicated focus on the digitalization of NVH engineering using hybrid virtual prototyping techniques. Below is a summary of Eric’s presentation:

Blocked forces in minutes: Fully automated testing for scalable NVH virtualization

Blocked forces are rapidly becoming the industry’s preferred method for exchanging component data between OEMs and suppliers—enabling accurate virtual integration and predictive NVH analysis early in development. But while the method is gaining traction, traditional measurement approaches remain slow, complex, and difficult to scale across component variants, limiting wider adoption.

This presentation introduces Simcenter Testlab Automated Component Model Extraction —a fully automated test bench for blocked-force measurement compliant with ISO 20270. With Simcenter Testlab Automated Component Model Extraction, measurement times are reduced from days to just minutes, while manual effort and operator-dependent variability are eliminated.

At the press of a button, AutoCMX delivers accurate, repeatable blocked-force data—making it practical to characterize multiple component variants efficiently. The result: faster virtual prototyping, reliable NVH prediction, and immersive auralization in NVH simulators—transforming how suppliers and OEMs collaborate on NVH performance.

What you’ll learn in this session

  • Where the bottlenecks are in today’s blocked-force measurement practices and why they limit scalability and adoption
  • How blocked-force measurements can be fully automated to deliver faster, operator-independent, and repeatable results
  • How blocked forces enable digitalized NVH development, using (hybrid) virtual prototypes and immersive NVH simulators
