What’s new in Simcener Tire 2512
The latest Simcenter Tire updates
Simcenter Tire 2512 introduces a suite of enhancements designed to address the evolving needs of engineers engaged in tire modeling, parameter identification, and vehicle dynamics simulation. Below, we summarize the key technical features in this update and their engineering impact.
Wet Road Tire Modeling
Simcenter Tire 2512 now incorporates a robust wet road modeling capability through the new MF-Tyre/MF-Swift wet road model. Engineers can simulate tire behavior on wet surfaces with variable water layer depth, configurable via OpenCRG road files, vehicle simulation package roads, or external variables. This enables more accurate vehicle simulations under wet conditions, supporting advanced safety and performance analyses.

Native rFPro TerrainServer Interface
Accurate prediction of tire forces requires precise road surface representation. Simcenter Tire 2512 natively integrates with rFPro TerrainServer, allowing direct access to high-fidelity road surface data for vehicle handling and ride comfort simulations. The inclusion of the rFPro interface library streamlines configuration and ensures consistency across simulation environments.
In 2506, this was only possible via a plug-in library; in this release, the capability is natively embedded.

Speedgoat Real-Time Compatibility
To support harmonized tire modeling across diverse simulation environments, Simcenter Tire 2512 adds compatibility with Speedgoat Real-Time computers. This enables real-time simulations and facilitates the deployment of tire models throughout the enterprise, ensuring consistent results and efficient workflow integration. With this update, all major simulation system setups are now supported, ensuring, with high probability, that your team can work with all other simulation teams within your organization.

Enhanced Comparison of Multiple Identification Projects
The new release simplifies the comparison of multiple MF-Tool identification projects by allowing users to open several projects in parallel. This feature improves project management and accelerates the process of finding optimal results, supporting data-driven decision-making and efficient validation cycles.
Improved Comparison with Existing Models
Simcenter Tire 2512 introduces fast visualization of nominal tire model characteristics based solely on TIR-files. Engineers can quickly compare newly identified parameter sets to existing TIR files, leveraging robust and user-friendly model parameterization tools for benchmarking and refinement.
Custom Comments in Tire Parameter Files
The updated MF-Tool fitter API now allows CAE engineers to add custom comments when exporting TIR files. This capability supports better documentation and traceability of model identification processes, facilitating collaboration and knowledge transfer within engineering teams.
Simcenter Tire 2512 delivers targeted improvements for tire simulation professionals, enhancing modeling accuracy, workflow efficiency, and project management. These advancements empower engineers to address complex simulation challenges and drive innovation in vehicle dynamics and tire design.
