On-demand Webinar: How Multi-Axis Machining is Transforming Part Manufacturing

By Stephanie Aldrete

Are you trying to cut your machining time, reduce setups, and deliver higher quality parts?

Join us for a one-hour webinar on that is packed with insights on how to achieve these goals by leveraging multi-axis machining.

Long considered to be the specialty of high-end aerospace parts manufacturers, multi-axis machining is now transforming machine shops across industries. But without the right technology, 5-axis milling can be challenging.

Find out how NX CAM software simplifies multi-axis machining by offering best-in-class, automated CNC programming capabilities. An expert from Sandvik Coromant will demonstrate proven, highly-efficient machining techniques for aerospace parts.

Discover the advantages of using Siemens’ NX software, a comprehensive solution for CAD, CAM, CMM, robotics, and additive manufacturing.

Speakers:

Michael Taesch, Siemens Digital Industries Software

Michael Taesch heads up the NX CAM multi-axis machining and robotic software product development team at Siemens Digital Industries Software. Prior to his current role, Michael was part of the product management team for the NX CAM Hybrid-Additive Manufacturing initiative. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering from Ecole National d’Ingenieur de Saint Etienne, France.

Tom Funke, Sandvik Coromant

Tom Funke is a CAM & Applications Engineer with the Aerospace Application Center at Sandvik Coromant. Using his extensive experience with NX CAM, Tom provides turn-key solutions for complex parts. He has also held roles leading manufacturing CAM programming teams and application engineers. Tom holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Vehicle Design and Engineering Technology.
