See a connected machining workflow in action, with each partner bringing a different part of the process together:

Plan the machining process in NX CAM
The workflow will start in NX CAM, where the machining process will be planned and the operations required to produce the components will be defined.
Select and manage the tooling
The workflow will then move into the Sandvik Coromant Tool Library to select the cutting tools required for the planned operations and demonstrate how they can be brought into the CAM environment.
CAM programming in NX CAM
With the manufacturing plan and tooling defined, NX CAM will be used to program two industrial components using different machining approaches.
The showcase will highlight:
- CTX Turn-Mill: Programming a part that combines turning and milling operations.
- DMU Partial Blisk: Complex 5-axis programming for a partial blisk.
- Cloud-connected Tool Manager: Importing tools from the Sandvik Coromant Tool Library into NX CAM, reducing manual tool setup.
- Modern machining strategies: Helping reduce programming and setup time while improving programming productivity.
- Machine simulation, automation and On-Machine Probing (OMP) for in-process verification.


Verify with machine simulation
The resulting NC programs will move into VERICUT for machine simulation, demonstrating how potential collisions, gouges and other issues will be identified and addressed before machining.
Automate the machining process
The verified process will then demonstrate how KUKA robotics will support machining through automated component handling and machine tending.
Inspect and validate with Renishaw
Renishaw will demonstrate CMM-based inspection for dimensional quality control, showing how finished components will be measured and checked for dimensional accuracy as part of the quality process.
One connected manufacturing workflow
Together, these stages will demonstrate a connected workflow from manufacturing planning and tooling through CAM programming, simulation, automation, machining, in-process verification and inspection.
