Accellera Systems Initiative recently closed its public comment review period for the Portable Test and Stimulus Standard Early Adopter (EA) version. If you have not yet downloaded your copy, you can find it here. Reviewers were asked to post their comments and suggestions and you can find them in the Accellera Portable Stimulus Community Forum. I invite you to download the EA version of the standard and take a moment to read the suggestions that the design and verification community has offered to the Accellera Portable Stimulus Standards (PSS) committee. While the public review period is closed, the forum remains open to any input or feedback you may with to share.
What Comes Next?
The PSS committee will take the feedback into consideration as it closes on the first release of the standard in 2018. Further, a review of the comments points to a need to share more information about the Portable Test and Stimulus Standard from those who are part of its development and to learn from users who have early experience to use it in practice in an in-person, live session. For the 40,000+ members of Verification Academy, you know we offer online video sessions on Portable Stimulus Basics to a large number of Verification Academy forum members discussing portable stimulus. It is always the one-on-one discussions where you can interact with the experts that can help you learn faster and gain the knowledge to apply it to your design and verification challenges.

I realize that most attendees will come from the Silicon Valley, leaving those who are some distance away from asking their questions. Feel free to contact me with your questions or simply add them in the comment section below.
To get things going, how about this as a first question:
Question – What is your main portability issue that you hope PT&S will address?
Keep the questions coming and for those who can attend in person, I look forward to meeting you there!
