- Luca Manuelli, CEO, Ansaldo Nucleare, a division of Ansaldo Energia
Digital Twin of Production With Advanced Robotics and Vision Based Artificial Intelligence
Learn more about the challenges in designing, validating, and commissioning robotics for a non-deterministic working environment with Mech-Mind Robotics, who specializes in visual based artificial intelligence for industrial robotics. Mech-Mind discusses how they solved these challenges with the help of Siemens and Tecnomatix in their journey towards becoming a more flexible robotics system for manufacturing, logistics, and more.
Speakers:
- Tianlan Shao, Founder and CEO of Mech-Mind Robotics
- Vincent Guo, Business Development of Digital Manufacturing at Siemens Digital Industries Software
Moving EV Production into the Fast Lane with Smart Manufacturing
The emergence of EV/AV vehicles is causing automotive OEM’s and suppliers to expand their current product portfolios. During this presentation, you will learn how an end-to-end digitalization approach to manufacturing and the development of a Digital Twin for Production can help manufacturers engineer, launch, maintain and optimize the complex manufacturing systems of the future.
Speaker:
- Todd Bengtsson, Director of Manufacturing Automotive Solutions at Siemens Digital Industries Software
Tecnomatix Customer Sessions
Revolutionize Engineering Collaboration to Improve Manufacturing Business
In this session you will learn that since different production engineering disciplines at B/S/H/ are nowadays fully operative with tools integrated into Teamcenter Manufacturing they can use new technologies and features such as Virtual Reality in a much more efficient way. No more gathering and conversion of data, just consuming Teamcenter data by launching Process Simulate and executing the VR functionality; this allows B/S/H to collaborate across departments, factories, and even with external suppliers, without having the need to travel across the globe.
Speakers:
- Frank Helmke, Head of Digital Factory at B/S/H
- Christian Hergt, IT Business Consultant at B/S/H
- Ralf Nagel, Senior Expert & Product Owner at B/S/H
Tecnomatix Plant Simulation | Thriving On 3D!
This 3D modeling disbeliever’s story about the usage of 3D modeling in Plant Simulation will show how to generate not only fancy-looking models, but also highly performing ones. This session shows almost self-explaining 3D models, in which customers easily recognize their material flows, delivering a better understanding of the limitations and potentials of these flows, and opening a much wider route to 3D model driven optimization.
Speaker:
- Marc Hermans, Simulation Engineer at Audi Hungaria
Factory Layout Authoring Using Line Designer
Hear directly from a manufacturing engineer at Ford Motor Company to learn more about the feasibility of using Line Designer to author Factory Layouts.
Line Designer and Teamcenter can be used to create and manage Resource Structures. These structures can then be more widely consumed by diverse engineering functions, be used in various formats and allow mechanisms to link the associated Product and Process structures. The resulting linked structures, available in a single master location, reduces duplication of data and enables a more efficient Engineering Factory, which in turn drives fewer physical shop-floor changes and a faster installation process.
Speaker:
- Jim White, Manufacturing Engineer at Ford Motor Company UK
