Our improved Simcenter Prescan Blender pipeline now offers a much smoother experience, featuring simplified Radar material assignment and robust support for sub-materials, which means no more tedious manual mesh splitting! We’ve also upgraded our supported Blender version to 4.4 and refined the conversion process from GLTF & USD(Z) formats to Simcenter Prescan Assets via Blender, ensuring that all your precious materials and textures are perfectly preserved. These updates are designed to streamline your workflow, boost efficiency, and ultimately enhance the accuracy and realism of your simulations.

Enhanced Sensor Data Visualization with Color Annotations

In Simcenter Prescan 2511, we’re excited to introduce a powerful new way to visualize and interpret your sensor data, making analysis more intuitive and insightful. Our physics-based sensors now support per-point color annotation, allowing you to instantly assess critical information at a glance. You can now visualize color per point for essential metrics like energy return, object ID, range, height, or Doppler speed. With support for various color maps and custom color ranges, you have complete control over how you interpret your data. This fantastic enhancement works seamlessly with both Physics-based RSS and Lidar sensors, providing richer, more detailed insights into your simulations than ever before.

Significant Simulink Regeneration & 3D Viewer loading Performance

Simcenter Prescan 2511 brings remarkable performance enhancements that will significantly accelerate your workflow and elevate your simulation experience. We’ve drastically improved Simulink model regeneration, making it up to five times faster in complex scenes, especially those with numerous lights. This speedup is thanks to smarter Terminator signal placement and optimized logic, meaning less waiting and more engineering. Complementing this, our new Unreal Viewer revolutionizes scene review. It loads large, visually rich scenes up to five times faster, delivers higher frame rates, and offers superior support for intricate environments with many objects. You can now effortlessly inspect every detail with a free-roaming camera, enjoy enhanced rendering quality, and even preview Unreal-only effects like clouds and smoke in real-time, ensuring a smoother, more responsive, and visually stunning simulation development process.
