Functional Safety: Accellera’s Virtual Lunch Event Focus

With DAC 2020 going virtual, the opportunities for social interactions have had to go virtual as well.  In that spirit, Accellera has planned an industry standards conversation with a focus on Functional Safety on Thursday, July 23rd during your DAC 2020 lunch break.  Mentor is proud to be one of the global sponsors to help Accellera bring this conversation to you from DAC.

All DAC 2020 registrants are invited to join Accellera for this virtual lunch break.  Accellera’s past DAC events have brought together various industry participants to share the latest in standards projects, discuss future plans to address the needs of the design and verification community.  DAC 2020 is no exception.  If you are not yet registered for DAC 2020, you can register for the fee-free “I Love DAC” admission pass to join us at Accellera’s lunch event on Thursday, July 23rd for this invaluable conversation!

Recently Accellera approved the formation of its Functional Safety Working Group (FSWG) to develop a standard to provide a comprehensive and unified definition of the Functional Safety intent to improve automation, interoperability, and traceability across the Functional Safety development lifecycle of electronic circuits and systems.  The FSWG is ready to share its current status, plans and standards development plans.

The lunch event will include a short welcome from the Lu Dai, Accellera Chair, an update on the Accellera technical program by Accellera Technical Committee Chair, Martin Barnasconi, then an introduction to Accellera’s Functional Safety activities by FSWG Chair, Alessandra Nardi.  She will then moderate a panel of functional safety experts to focus on perspectives, challenges and opportunities.  Using the Virtual DAC 2020 platform, you will be able to participate in a live chat and Q&A session.
