Technology to transform the everyday

Every year Siemens honors particularly outstanding researchers and developers as Inventors of the Year in five categories: Talents, Open Innovation, Outstanding Invention, Lifetime Achievement and, Design and User Experience. Their innovations have significantly contributed to the company’s success while also benefiting society. In times in which information technology and operational technology are converging, our inventors create technologies that are bridging those worlds and transforming the everyday. They make sure that cities are more livable, our travel safer and industries more efficient, and they promote sustainability in society.

Outstanding Invention

Game changers earn high marks with an outstanding invention. With their inventions, the prizewinners have set new standards in their field of technology. An industrially significant invention or an improvement to an existing product led to a business success, or a new approach helped solve a social problem or improved people’s lives.

This year our Digital Manufacturing business segment won this prize in the category of “Outstanding Invention” with  Intosite.

We are so proud of our colleagues Rafi Blumenfeld, Tali Segall and Eitan Carmi.

They are the initiators of the Intosite software, which provides remote visual navigation into any factory location, including in-context information access and collaboration apps.
