IDS and Siemens PLM Software at EuCAP 2018

We are pleased to announce our participation at the 12th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation – EuCAP from the 9th to the 13th of April at the ExCeL Exhibition Center in London.

The design and optimization of the Electromagnetic (EM) performance of real life complex platforms such as aircrafts, spacecrafts, UAV’s, ships, cars is not simply a matter of solving Maxwell’s equations with an efficient CAE tool. It’s a process guided by experience, best practise and knowledge of the problem.

Siemens PLM Software and IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi have partnered to provide High-frequency Electromagnetic Engineering Solutions in Simcenter.

Simcenter 3D, the leading multi-physics engineering platform for 3D simulation part of the Simcenter portfolio, adds significant value to simulation-based engineering processes for a wide range of physical domains.

Electromagnetic engineers, dealing with the most complex EM problems such as Antenna siting, EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and EMI (Electromagnetic Interference), require first-rate functionalities in order to efficiently prepare an EM-ready model (from a CAD geometry or from a FE mesh). Simcenter 3D embeds a range of exactly such modelling capabilities in support of the most demanding 3D simulation applications and workflows: CAD Cleaning, De-featuring, direct geometry editing with Synchronous technology, advanced meshing in assembly context and more.

Simcenter 3D in conjunction with GALILEO results in overall improved workflows, fast solutions and high fidelity of simulations. GALILEO is developed by IDS, based on their long time experience in EM engineering and EM physical testing competences.

At EUCAP2018, you can join us for a workshop where we will present together with our partner IDS, through a range of industrial application examples, an efficient approach to electromagnetic engineering with GALILEO in conjunction with Simcenter 3D modelling capabilities.

Come and meet us at our stand, Booth 106-206!
