Come visit us at Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo 2018

Autonomous vehicles are definitely a really hot topic this year, and safety has risen to be particularly critical. Siemens is taking a stronger than ever position in the development of autonomous vehicles – see the latest partnership signed with the American Center for Mobility.  In that perspective, we want to give a better understanding of the challenges that lie ahead and the solutions that Siemens PLM Software can offer.

Joining forces

As a result of the recent Siemens PLM Software acquisitions – Mentor Graphics and TASS International – we’ve been working really hard to consolidate our integrated solutions to deliver the right tools and methodologies to support the engineering efforts and make autonomous vehicles become a safe reality. Siemens PLM Software is developing a unique platform to become the single technology partner that can connect multiple engineering solutions (integrated chipsets, electric and electronic systems, vehicle performance) for product development into a solution environment that supports the entire product lifecycle, enabling series production of autonomous vehicles.

Meet and greet!

We are in full preparation of our participation to the Autonomous Vehicle Technology World Expo 2018 conference and exclusive exhibition. This conference is taking place on June 5-7 in Stuttgart, in parallel of the Automotive Testing Expo. And we’re going big here. In addition to a major booth on the show floor – come and visit us! – we’ll be participating to the conferences through 3  presentations.

  • Training and validating automated driving applications using physics-based sensor simulation by Robin van der Made, June 6 at 9:00am

  • Enabling the massive simulation that autonomous driving validation requires by Enguerrand Prioux, June 6 at 3:45 pm.

  • Contract-based design of automotive software systems by Fabio Urcioli, June 5 at 11:45am

For more information, you can definitely have a look at the conference agenda for the Test and Development Symposium as well as for the Software Symposium.

On day three of the event (June 7) we will host a 2 hours’ workshop, providing insight on the end-to-end development of autonomous vehicles, facilitating the full spectrum of automated driving technology, ranging from system-on-a-chip design, sensor development and systems integration to full-vehicle performance evaluation and traffic impact analysis. We’ll detail our integrated solutions, and provide hands-on sessions where you can directly experience our latest developments.

So, interested and want to pay a visit?

You can join us at the Siemens PLM Software booth.
