With a Masters in Electromechanical engineering from Ghent University and a PhD from KU Leuven, Koen De Langhe carries 25 years of 3D CAE expertise in industrial context, originally focusing on 3D mechanical analysis: Structural Dynamics, Acoustics, NVH, and since a number of years as well focusing on 3D Electromagnetics. Both addressing low and high frequencies, targeted towards : electric motors, transformers, actuators, EMC/EMI, antenna’s, radar and alike. As director within 3D Product Management, Koen is setting the product strategy for several Simcenter 3D productlines (Acoustics, Structural Dynamics and Electromagnetics) and is defining and implementing global strategies for bringing these products to market, across wide industry segments such as Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical industries, Marine industries and more.
