Streamlining 3D IC design with Innovator3D IC product family release 2604.0004
Release 2604.0004 (available now on Support Center) brings a number of design capabilities and productivity enhancements further enhancing Innovator3D IC product familes design capabilities that are suitable for all types of advanced chiplet integration platforms. This release supersedes previous 2604 releases. Below are the major new capabilities of this release.
ECO compare for ODB++ and “Snapshot” file imports
Innovator3D IC Integrator, Layout and Data Management now have an ECO review/compare capability before importing ODB++ and “Snapshot” files. Designers can now compare an incoming ECO file against the current design and produce a report in Unidiff data format showing what the impact will be.

Device construction from incremental CSV file imports
Innovator3D IC Integrator now allows incremental import of multiple CSV files to build up a device with overwriting any previously imported data. Two options control the resolution strategy of the command.
-incremental
Enables incremental import mode. When this switch is specified, the command imports pins from the CSV file into the existing package without removing pins that are already present in the package database.
-preserve
Controls the resolution strategy for duplicate pin numbers (pins that exist in both the CSV file and the package database). This switch is only valid when used together with -incremental.
Custom Device Outlines
Innovator3D IC Integrator can now autogenerate custom device outlines from an initial outline, for example from a placement outline. The designer can autogenerate additional outlines in relation to the initial placement outline by stating rules for how to size and name the outline in relation to the initial outline. This can be useful for creating additional outlines such as Active Area, Scribe, SealRing or something else.
