Join leading engineers shaping the future at Realize LIVE 2025
Realize LIVE, the digital transformation conference
We’re approaching the halfway mark in our speaker program, gearing up for even bigger Realize LIVE events in 2025. The Americas event is moving to Detroit, while the Europe event heads to Amsterdam—both locations providing even more space for content dedicated to advancing your digital transformation journey.
And whilst space is key, content is king, and without the 100s of submissions from our customers and partners the event would not be possible. If you are considering presenting a session for the 2025 events, you have until January 10, 2025, to submit for Americas or the Europe event.
The presenter’s view
At the 2024 events, we spoke directly with presenters to hear why they chose to share their digital journey experiences. Among them were Luca Hillebrand, co-founder and CEO of REJOOL, a start-up developing hydrogen compressors; Leah Kight, staff technical product manager at GE Aviation; and Amit Bharadwaj, who leads software-defined vehicles for North America and the Midwest automotive portfolio at Accenture.
What made you decide to attend Realize LIVE, the digital transformation conference?
Luca: ” We will be implementing new Siemens’ software in the coming months and years. Learning first-hand from users who are already using the software is absolutely helpful for us.”
Leah: “Just learning about the different things that Siemens is doing with the metaverse, but also how they’re teaming up with different companies.”
Amit: “Sponsoring Realize LIVE was one of our primary needs and requirements because we bring the technologies and the transformation ideation together that is required to change how our clients think about solving problems. That’s one of the key intentions for us to partner at Realize LIVE.”
…getting insights from different companies facing the same challenge…

Why did you choose to speak at Realize LIVE?
Luca: “The customer success manager contributed to the possibility of me being one of the main speakers on the main stage, presenting our story and perspectives.”
Leah: “I was asked to speak this year, and it was really good to showcase what we’ve done. We wanted to showcase all of the work we’ve put in with our partnership with Siemens and A plus B, which is a technology partner of Siemens.”
Amit: “I joined my partner from Siemens, Hans, in speaking, and we focused on cloud-based software and hardware virtualization techniques, which are scalable and integrated platforms that software products companies can utilize.”

What did you share in your session that the audience found helpful?
Leah: “During the presentation, we talked about our three focal points: how we standardize our requirements because GE aerospace is such a big place, the connectivity for connecting machines, and implementation, making sure that what we implemented can be scaled across each site. We wanted to ensure that everyone has the same implementation point across.”
Amit: “The reason I wanted to speak is because of the solution we have invented. It is one of the first solutions in the industry where we can bring hardware virtualization, including mixing different data sets of virtualized and real world, together with Siemens’ platform. Accenture is also using our own MT connect master toolkit, which is scalable and can be connected globally. We wanted to speak so that clients understand the benefits in person. We can have workshops with them here because this environment allows us to really ideate and talk about it. We feel proud of the solution we have done together, so it’s important to speak in front of everyone.”
Luca: “I wanted to share our journey and vision of entering the hydrogen market, which is very challenging. I wanted to let fellow users know how we use the software to navigate this market. I shared the most valuable insights we’ve experienced in the last couple of years, addressing the challenge of having a small team with limited resources while developing something remarkable in a short period of time using cutting-edge tools.”

What did you find most valuable about Realize LIVE, the digital transformation conference?
Luca: “The most valuable impression for me was learning about new technologies on the market. We all share the journey of trying to connect sustainability and digitalization.”
Leah: “I would share the importance of networking, just being able to hear from other companies and having intimate conversations with them. The classes are also valuable, with hands-on training and the ability to get a certificate afterward. Finally, the breakout sessions are great for learning what other companies are doing, just like GE aerospace.”
Interviewer: Would you recommend this event to others?
Luca: “I would totally recommend this event to others, not only for users of the software but also for those interested in digitalization and sustainability. It provides valuable insights and networking opportunities.”
