ICYMI: Siemens’ key highlights from IMTEX 2025 [VIDEO]

IMTEX 2025, India’s largest machine and manufacturing technology show, was bigger than ever, and the excitement is still in the air. Each year, IMTEX attracts around 100,000 visitors and over 1,000 exhibitors. This year, the event saw a strong turnout, uniting OEMs, machine builders, part manufacturers, researchers, academia, and students. It was the perfect platform to showcase the latest innovations in manufacturing technology.

As we reflect on our participation, we’re excited to share the insights and experiences gained.

Siemens Digital Industries Software at IMTEX 2025

At IMTEX 2025, Siemens showcased our end-to-end digital thread for digital part production, demonstrating how manufacturers can connect production operations, minimize data transfers, enhance collaboration, and automate processes. Through live demonstrations, customer interactions, and industry-specific solution trials, visitors experienced an integrated approach that seamlessly connects design, manufacturing engineering, CNC machining, robotics, 3D printing, and quality inspection.

The latest NX X Manufacturing, our cloud-based solution for part manufacturing, attracted significant attention as attendees explored its capabilities through hands-on trials. We also highlighted how our CAM software  helps manufacturers reduce programming time, minimize errors using G-code-driven simulation, accelerate machining , and achieve superior surface finishes with innovative strategies.

The positive response highlighted the industry’s increasing focus on efficiency, precision, and fully connected digital manufacturing.

Standout Moments from Siemens at IMTEX 2025

MACHINUM’s Debut at IMTEX 2025

Siemens unveiled MACHINUM, a CNC digitalization portfolio designed to optimize machine tools as part of Siemens Xcelerator. MACHINUM enables a faster, scalable, and more sustainable transformation, helping manufacturers improve time to market by up to 20% and reduce energy consumption by up to 18%.

Siemens Digital Part Production Digital Thread

At the core of our showcase was a fully integrated digital part production workflow, demonstrating the seamless transition from design to manufacturing. Leveraging NX for Manufacturing and SINUMERIK, we showcased how production processes are optimized to enhance accuracy, reduce cycle times, and minimize errors.

Key highlights included NX CAM’s advanced programming, post-processing, and simulation capabilities. The Post Hub for installing Digital Twins of machine tools from the cloud, along with NX CAM’s integration with Sinumerik One, was also in the spotlight as part of the broader conversation on advanced manufacturing.

Transform NX for Manufacturing with Cloud-Based and AI Solutions

NX X Manufacturing, our latest cloud-based SaaS solution for part manufacturing, took canter stage. Available in three product tiers—Standard, Advanced, and Premium—it enables customer to easily select the solution for their specific needs. We also showcased the NX X Manufacturing Copilot, an AI-driven chat assistant designed to help NC programmers navigate the software, answer domain-specific questions, and guide users through complex commands. Attendees had the opportunity to explore a 30-day free trial.

Partner Ecosystem

At IMTEX 2025, we demonstrated the power of a strong partner ecosystem, where our innovative partners are continuously integrating their solutions to provide manufacturers with more opportunities to boost productivity and scale operations.

Stay connected

If you couldn’t join us, don’t worry — we’ll continue the conversation online with our manufacturing community. Looking back on IMTEX 2025, we appreciate everyone who made this year’s event a memorable one. See you next time!
