Video: ECO Fill Flow Framework

A video introduction to Mentor’s newly introduced utility called ecofill.

This Calibre YieldEnhancer utility allows the user to standardize on a flow to remove dummy fill in areas where a design ECO has been implemented, while leaving all other fill in non-ECO regions unchanged. It describes the functionality and advantages of using this approach to modify fill after a design ECO, and lists supported alternatives to running the full flow from start to finish. Finally, a simple example is shown, along with some real world results from a customer’s use of this utility in a production flow. Go To Video
