The Teamcenter Digital Reality Viewer, powered by NVIDIA Omniverse, brings photorealistic rendering directly into Teamcenter, transforming how you visualize and interact with complex digital models. With NVIDIA Omniverse Cloud APIs, Teamcenter 2412 now supports real-time ray tracing, enabling the creation of photorealistic, physics-based digital twins that streamline workflows and reduce errors.

This enables detailed, true-to-life visualization of large, intricate datasets common in engineering and manufacturing—from rocket ships to marine vessels. With Teamcenter Digital Reality Viewer, customers can leverage their investment in a PLM digital thread backbone to incorporate realism into the multi-CAD data that’s used for everyday visualization, adding greater fidelity and context to their digital twin and surrounding scenes.

Find data faster using natural language AI powered semantic search

Search in Teamcenter 2412 gets AI powers! Semantic search utilizes powerful large language models (LLM) in a secure, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architecture, to deliver an enterprise-grade AI-powered search experience. It combines the benefits of keyword search and natural language search to help you find what you’re looking for faster.

Maximize the value of your calculations for battery cell and battery module manufacturing

Accurate cost and carbon footprint calculations for battery components and electronic systems are critical for today’s modern products. We’ve extended the benchmark database with reference processes and machines for battery cell and battery module manufacturing. This includes manufacturing steps for battery cell types such as prismatic cells, pouch cells, and cylindrical cells, covering all process steps from slurry mixing to module creation. The machine database is extended with special machines for battery cell manufacturing and battery module assembly. With this data, you can evaluate and optimize each step in the process with the latest industry-specific data.

Teamcenter X is now available on Microsoft Azure in addition to Amazon Web Services (AWS)! We recently expanded our partnership with Microsoft , to provide more flexibility in the way you purchase Teamcenter X. With the availability of Teamcenter X on Azure, organizations can benefit from Microsoft’s responsible AI tools and access to enterprise-grade security. This continued collaboration builds on the launch of the Teamcenter app on Microsoft Teams, which connects frontline factory and service teams to the design and engineering teams through Siemens’ industry-leading Teamcenter software for PLM.

Leverage the digital thread through to logistics, provisioning and sustainment

In this release of Teamcenter service lifecycle management (SLM), we are excited to introduce Product Support Data Management (PSDM), providing a digital thread from system design to product design to logistics and provisioning to sustainment. PSDM helps OEMs design products for maintainability, reliability, and testability. It captures the required data model in Teamcenter according to the Government Electronics and Information Technology Association or GEIA standard 0007 version C. Other enhancements for this release of SLM include several usability updates for service BOM, service planning, and physical asset management to help you work smarter and ensure service excellence.

Ensure effective and efficient manufacturing process planning

With Teamcenter Manufacturing with Easy Plan, you can now create and manage Plant specific BOMs. We’ve also added process planning enhancements to improve cloning processes, support for alternatives, multiple configurator contexts, and new effectivity support. Additional updates for resource management, support for data collection definitions (DCDs) for process stations, time studies based on process resources, BOP supported in visualization desktop, and change tracking enhancements can also be found in this release.

Modern, intuitive user experience for cost and carbon footprint calculations

Introducing a new table editor that provides a familiar and intuitive interface for handling daily operations! Select and arrange visible fields, adjust column widths, and manage layout preferences with a user-specific setup. With features like column sorting, filtering, and quick access to commands, the table editor simplifies data usage, making it ideal for daily business tasks.

We’ve also updated the traffic light icons to differentiate by shape and color. Each color is paired with a distinct shape, providing visual cues for accessibility. Accuracy and status information can be interpreted reliably by all users, regardless of color vision.
