Stuff to do at SEU: Built-In Data Management
The first thing I want to hightlight at SEU as a don’t-miss event is the Workshop on Built-in Data Management for ST9. For those small shops out there that aren’t using any of the available document management options, this is indespensible. There won’t be any more excuses for just relying on Windows Explorer and individual’s consistency.
The workshop is a half day on (Tuesday, Octobeer 25) the morning of the day before the actual SEU event. So it will cost you the $50 registration, an additional night in the hotel, and a little time. This really isn’t much when you consider that the security of your company’s design documentation is what’s on the line. I think we can count on a good turnout for this workshop, and I hope to see you there. I’m definitely going to try to make it. Read more about the event at this link.
If you don’t have any idea what I’m talking about, Solid Edge ST9 has new functionality that adds data management tools to all levels of the software for no additional cost. You can read more about it from the blog post at this link.
And in case you’ve been under a rock and haven’t heard of SEU, before, Solid Edge University 2016 is the annual conference for the Solid Edge software. We have technical breakout sessions, and inspirational keynotes, lots of meeting new/old friends, food, fun, etc. Go to this link to sign up before all the discounts are gone!
