Instantly start collaborating in the Solid Edge environment with included access to Teamcenter Share. Teamcenter Share tracks tasks within Solid Edge and enables users to create, edit and delete projects as they see fit. The unparalleled flexibility that Teamcenter Share provides also gives users the option to unshare projects with team members and create and reassign projects and tasks. Teamcenter Share won’t slow you down either. Workflow performance is improved due to the increased level of collaboration and communication. Teamcenter Share is faster than ever before, supporting large files up to 500GB.
Seamless collaboration and centralized data storage
Collaboration can now be initiated directly through the Solid Edge environment by using the desktop connector. This means that Teamcenter Share can share assemblies and track tasks without leaving Solid Edge. Data storage is also now centralized, enabling easy access by creating sub-assemblies directly in the desktop connector. Tighter integration between Teamcenter Share and Solid Edge makes task and data management centralized, allowing you to work more efficiently and faster.
Improved usability and general enhancements
Usability improvements make Teamcenter Share even more user-friendly. Users can easily customize the workspace by adding and removing columns and freely moving files, including their attached notes. Assemblies can also be sorted by priority. This greatly reduces confusion among team members and makes communication and collaboration instant and easy to understand. The dialog column has better customization options including the ability to arrange and group columns. Auto-sort enables tasks by status, due date and priority. Streamlined workflows improve the experience and overall productivity.
The new Global Search tool can be used to open projects and folders. Transferring ownership of projects is made easy with Teamcenter Share. The owner, creator or admin of a project can easily add more users to a project as co-owners. This aids in the collaboration process by enabling more than one person to take ownership. Customizations can also be made to link to make the use and transfer of them a hassle-free process.
