Call center (CANAL+).

No. I was part of a very young multicultural and mixed team with a great team spirit.

There has been progressive and continuous evolution for both my responsibilities and salary.

The management.

Being a woman is rather an asset because administrative jobs are mostly performed by women.

What type of advantages does your country offer compared to other countries.png  What type of advantages does your country offer compared to other countries? Has this been an advantage?
Belgium is probably one of the most attractive country in the European Union, considering the health and social insurances, the fringe benefits (i.e. child allowance, paid vacation and parental leave), and comparatively low cost of education.

Which has definitely been an advantage for me.

In twenty years of work, I have not seen any noticeable change, and gender equality is not only a concern for the engineering world. All professional sectors are concerned…

We all have to promote a change of mentality.

There should be wage equality based on similar experience, education level, and position…

Not yet.

It’s a matter of time depending on changing attitudes in the role assigned to women in their private lives as well.

From my past my expertise was more structural analysis though these days more thermal & fluid analysis. Grew up in Europe before coming to the States for university and started working. From there went to Japan for 10 years all with Siemens PLM and now in Canada.
