🌱 Sustainability Impact Award: BorgWarner
BorgWarner is redefining mobility with a bold vision for a clean, energy-efficient world. As a global leader in sustainable automotive solutions, they’re delivering electrified innovations while continuing to improve fuel-efficient combustion technologies. Their commitment to carbon neutrality by 2035 and measurable progress across GHG Protocol Emissions Scopes 1, 2, and 3 earned them this year’s Sustainability Impact Award.
🔄 Digital Transformation Award: SENAI-ISI
Latin America’s largest professional and technical education institution, SENAI-ISI, is leading Brazil’s smart manufacturing revolution. Through the Techub project, they’ve launched the country’s first national lithium battery production line—an ambitious step toward a closed-loop, digitally enabled ecosystem. Their strategic use of Siemens solutions to align technology with long-term goals exemplifies what it means to be a digital enterprise.
🤝 Community Champion Award: Peter Mendez, General Atomics
Peter Mendez, a Mendix Solution Architect at General Atomics, is a cornerstone of the Siemens community. A top contributor in the Mendix ecosystem, Peter shares his deep technical knowledge across forums, events, and publications. His dedication to helping others and improving Siemens products through feedback makes him a true community champion.
💡 Innovation Leader Award: Sibo Chou, Northrop Grumman
Sibo Chou is pushing the boundaries of virtual engineering. By integrating Siemens’ Process Simulate with motion capture technology, he developed the Highly Immersive Virtual Environment (HIVE). This breakthrough allows engineers to assess feasibility and sustainability in a virtual space—long before production begins. The result? Faster development, fewer design errors, and a leap forward in digital prototyping.
