ROAD TRIP! Fifth Annual Polarion Software Motorcycle Tour (Part One)

By Editor1

Every year, I bike across the country visiting users of Polarion’s application lifecycle managementmedical device, and automotive solutions.

April 26th was Day 1.  I began from New Hampshire, the home of my six-month-old granddaughter and the last resting place of my bike from last year.  My first stop was Connecticut for a UTC Aerospace Systems Executive Briefing, which was very insightful.

Day 2 had me travel back to Boston for a week of consulting at Medtronic/Covidien.  It is cold.  Too cold.  If not for the glory of the thing, I would have rented a car.

Stops I’m visiting:

  • May 4 – Mattel at East Aurora, New York

  • May 5 – Uber ATC at Pittsburgh, PA

  • May 7 – Forrester Breakfast at Detroit

  • May 8 – AbbVie at North Chicago

  • May 11 – Covidien Surgical at Boulder, CO

I plan to continue from Colorado to the West Coast and plan on stops to:

  • Intel at Phoenix

  • Align at San Jose

  • Wind River at Alameda

One of the most interesting parts of each tour year over year, is that I ride far shorter and shorter distances to visit prospects and customers, and I get to visit the customers now that were tour prospects in former years.
