EMEA MOM Partner Days 2026: Turning manufacturing innovation into customer value

Manufacturing is entering a new era. As industrial artificial intelligence (AI), cloud technologies and connected software portfolios reshape factory operations, manufacturers are looking for partners who can help them navigate this transformation. Against this backdrop, Siemens invited partners to its Huizingen site in Belgium on June 16-17 for the EMEA MOM Partner Days 2026. Since its launch in 2019, the event has grown from an Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) partner meeting into Siemens Digital Industries Software’s flagship regional event for the entire Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) portfolio.

This year’s edition reflected both the growing importance of MOM and the strength of the Siemens partner ecosystem. With more than 170 participants from 49 partner companies across 16 countries – representing a 20% increase in attendance compared to last year – the event welcomed a record audience, including one-third of participants attending for the first time. Supported by an expanded presence of Siemens executives and experts, the two-day program combined strategic keynotes, technical deep dives, interactive roundtables and live demonstrations to help partners prepare for the next phase of digital manufacturing.

The objectives were clear from the opening session led by Marc Engelen, EMEA Portfolio Development Director, and Sylvain Carrouee, EMEA Portfolio Development Executive, unlock new business opportunities, strengthen collaboration across the partner ecosystem and further enhance partners’ technical and sales expertise. Throughout the event, discussions consistently focused on three strategic priorities that are shaping the future of Manufacturing Operations Management: the evolution towards Opcenter X, the value of the Digital Thread and the growing adoption of Industrial AI.

Preparing partners for the Journey to X

A central message throughout the event was that manufacturing software is entering a new era. Manufacturers are looking for solutions that are easier to deploy, faster to scale and capable of connecting data across the entire production lifecycle while protecting existing investments.

As Siemens continues to bring its MOM solutions together under the Opcenter X portfolio, partners are encouraged to prepare their own “Journey to X” together with their Siemens channel managers. This transition is designed as an evolution rather than a disruptive migration, helping customers protect existing investments while opening new opportunities around software-as-a-service (SaaS) and cloud deployment.

Dedicated sessions across the event explored product roadmaps and transition strategies for manufacturing execution, APS as well as research, development and laboratory (RD&L) and other portfolio areas, providing partners with practical guidance on supporting customers throughout their modernization journey.

Another recurring theme throughout the EMEA MOM Partner Days was the growing importance of the Digital Thread. Manufacturers today are no longer looking for isolated software solutions. They need connected environments that seamlessly link engineering, planning, manufacturing execution, quality, logistics and operational intelligence.

This connected approach enables information to flow across the entire manufacturing lifecycle – from product design and process planning through production execution and continuous improvement – providing greater visibility, faster decision-making and improved collaboration across traditionally separate domains.

The importance of the Digital Thread was reinforced across multiple keynote presentations and breakout sessions, including discussions around operations software, quality management, digital logistics and manufacturing execution. The session on data-driven manufacturing led by Ralf Wagner, Senior Vice President Insights Hub, demonstrated how Insights Hub enables manufacturers to transform operational data into actionable intelligence. By combining machine connectivity, contextualized production data and AI-powered analytics, manufacturers can improve equipment availability, optimize production performance, reduce defects and support sustainability objectives through better energy management.

The message was consistent across the event: data alone does not create value. Value comes from connecting information across engineering, production and operations, allowing AI to identify patterns, recommend actions and support faster decision-making.

This perspective was further reinforced by Robert Huber, Vice President Global Portfolio Development Management and Maurizio Pazzini, Vice president Global Customer Success. Operations Software: Bringing engineering and manufacturing together

Building on the Digital Thread theme, Volker Albrecht, CEO of Siemens Digital Logistics, introduced Operations Software (OpsSoftware) as a strategic pillar of the Siemens Digital Industries Software portfolio, connecting MOM with industrial automation and product lifecycle management (PLM). Rather than viewing these domains separately, OpsSoftware brings engineering, planning, execution and operations together in one connected software ecosystem.

For manufacturers, this creates the foundation for a seamless Digital Thread, enabling information to flow across the entire manufacturing lifecycle – from product design and production planning to shopfloor execution and continuous improvement. By connecting previously isolated domains, manufacturers gain greater transparency, agility and operational efficiency.

For Siemens partners, OpsSoftware also represents an important business opportunity. As customers increasingly look for integrated software solutions instead of standalone applications, partners can expand their portfolios by supporting end-to-end digital transformation initiatives.
