New Tech Tip describes new-for-NX CAM 9 Cut Region Management
Last week’s Tech Tip was the first in our series of new NX CAM 9 enhancement webinars. This Tech Tip describes some powerful new options for optimizing cut patterns across steep and non-steep regions. Mold and Die programmers will be especially interested in these new capabilities.
For Area Mill operations, the new interactive Cut Region Management combines steep and non-steep cut patterns and give extensive user control over how to define, organize, and process the workpiece’s cut regions.
For Flow Cut operations, the system cuts steep valleys and corners with Z-level patterns and cuts non-steep valleys by tracing along the valleys.
