I’ve been lucky enough to see Valydate become a leading provider of schematic verification solutions for complex PCB systems design, with verification methodology and automated checks that are the most comprehensive in the industry. Our schematic integrity analysis technology is unique, and is used by numerous major electronics design companies to address challenges accentuated by large, complex design across an enterprise team. The solutions we’ve developed focus on the earliest possible optimization of design quality, leading to a reduction in development/test time and cost, and faster time to volume manufacturing.
I see joining Mentor as a natural fit, with its own leadership in PCB systems design, global footprint, and extensive network of enterprise customers. Joining Mentor is a very positive step forward for our customers, our employees, and the industry as a whole. Our technology strengthens Mentor’s already great leadership in systems verification, which will be enhanced through a tighter integration with the industry-leading Xpedition PCB design flow, while still serving all EDA environments. This integration will expand and strengthen Mentor’s portfolio of verification solutions, including signal/power integrity, thermal, vibration and manufacturability. We can now help Mentor customers shift left and address critical validation challenges, and help achieve one of Mentor’s key strategic initiatives, to provide leading solutions for integrated design verification. Customers will have immediate access to design verification technology proven on hundreds of high-complexity designs.
