Transformation…delivered

Closing the loop

The final day always feels different.

A little quieter. A little more focused.
Less about discovering what’s here — and more about understanding what to take back.

Over the past three days, there’s been a clear progression:

  • Day one was about energy and participation
  • Day two moved into application and real-world conversations
  • And by day three, the tone shifts again — towards something more grounded

Less noise – well until the evening at least! More intent.

From big ideas to real ambition

We still started with Run Club, another great turnout and whilst the team at WERUN313 ensured the pace stayed strong, the conversations were flowing throughout the pack.

One of the most telling moments of the day came in a session with Reaction Dynamics.

Balin Moher presenting at Realize LIVE

What stood out wasn’t just the technology — it was the ambition, and the energy behind it. Balin Moher spoke with a level of passion that lifted the room.

What was surprising was just how quickly they’re able to move. Operating from remote locations, pushing towards launch timelines that feel aggressive by any standard — it challenges the assumption that we have about conventional satellite launches.

There were also moments that made it feel human, not just technical.
A background in philosophy. A personal ambition to travel to space.

And a line that landed well with the room — telling Magnus that he hoped to have made it to space by the time he reached his age!

The line that I found most memorable was Balin describing their mission as offering “the equivalent of an Uber to space.”

Speed, failure, and what progress really looks like

A similar energy came through in the session with Jay from Haddy — but with a different edge.

Failure is built in to improve speed at Haddy
Haddy share their transformation journey where failure is acceptable because it means one step closer to success.

Here, the focus was on speed. Not just as an ambition, but as a way of working.

What stood out was how quickly they’re able to ramp up — and the acceptance that failure is part of the process. Not something to manage away, but something built into how they move forward.

There was also something striking in the scale — the speed, size, and capability of what can be printed with AI-powered robotic systems. It’s impressive, but also slightly disorienting when you first see it.  Surely not a 40m yacht?

And one line that seemed to stick with people:

“The future is here — it just isn’t evenly distributed.”

It resonated because it reflects where many teams still are.

Community celebrations

We’re proud to recognize David Stuckman, Steffen Bangsow, Jan Bos and Frederick Vanhee for their outstanding contributions to our community—each bringing expertise, energy and collaboration that truly elevate others. Their impact reflects the strength of this community we value so highly, and we hope everyone enjoyed the opportunity at Realize LIVE to connect in person, share ideas, and engage with fellow catalysts as well as our Siemens team.

Where the real value shows up

Away from the sessions, there was a noticeable shift in how people were spending their time.

Networking
Enjoying the games and networking in the Solutions Center.

More lingering in the corridors.
More conversations in the Solutions Center and the Connections Lounge.
Even groups spilling out into the Detroit sunshine.

Less rushing between sessions — and more time spent talking through what it all means.

The networking side of Realize LIVE has fully landed.
And by day three, it feels like that’s where a lot of the real value sits.

What this tells us

Taken together, these moments say more than any single session.

Earlier in the week, the focus was on what technology can do.
By the end, the emphasis has shifted towards how quickly teams are trying to move — and how they make that real.

Across conversations, a few things kept coming up:

  • Teams are still working through the fundamentals — onboarding, simplification, getting people up to speed
  • AI is firmly in the conversation, but only where the data behind it is trusted

It’s less about being convinced — and more about figuring out what’s practical.

Connecting it back

Learning continues into day three
Shared learning continues at Realize LIVE

Looking back at the themes from the start of the week, they land differently now.

  • Predict earlier
  • Reduce instability before it happens
  • Move faster, but with control

And maybe the most consistent thread running through it all:

Trusted outcomes need context, not just data

At the start of the week, that felt like messaging.
By the end, it feels like a real constraint people are working within.

What people leave with

What stands out most isn’t any single session.

It’s a shift in mindset:

  • clearer on where to focus
  • more honest about the challenges
  • and slightly more confident in how to move forward

Beyond the event

After the dust settles on the final night celebration we really hope you leave with new connections and new ideas.  You can continue to connect on our Community channels and continue to learn with your Siemens Xcelerator Academy access. Safe journey home and beyond!
