Morris Medical: RiskPack Data Type "Device Element"

Welcome back to Morris Medical Monday: a series for medical device development companies – and companies who are related to such companies – providing useful information about Polarion solutions and Polarion extensions.

Today we will discuss the subject of Polarion’s RiskPack extension, and have a look at RiskPack Data Types.


Data Type “Device Element” (deviceElement)


Device Elements represent parts of your device (hardware, software, mechanical parts, packaging, user manual
etc.). Usually, those items are stored in other projects within Polarion. Anyway, they can be used within the
RiskPack just like all other Work Item types. For being able to work properly, the RiskPack expects Device
Element workitems to meet the requirements listed below.
