Today we are bringing you the second part of our discussion with Mike Ellow, CEO of Siemens EDA. As we continue in our conversation Dale and I ask Mike about how companies can approach the integration of semiconductor development with other domains, why some companies are now looking into custom silicon development for their products, and how greater virtualization in design can help companies as they move forward into the future of software-defined products and systems.

In part 2 of the podcast we cover:

  1. The integration of software, electronics, and mechanical systems.
  2. Ongoing advancements in semiconductor technology.
