See Opcenter APS 2504 in action

The latest Opcenter APS 2504 release brings targeted enhancements for manufacturing planners, focusing on usability, security, and automation. Here’s a compact overview of the key updates featured in the new release video.

Validation Dashboard
The new Validation Dashboard provides a comprehensive, customizable view of all schedule warnings and errors. With one click, you can see, search, and group validation issues, then jump directly to affected operations for faster resolution-streamlining schedule accuracy and production readiness

OpenID Connect Authentication
Opcenter APS 2504 now supports OpenID Connect, allowing users to sign in with trusted providers like Google or Microsoft. This integration simplifies user management and boosts security, with roles and permissions managed both in your identity provider and within Opcenter

Unattended Console Improvements
Automate scheduling more reliably: the unattended console now matches interactive scheduling accuracy, and new command-line switches let you unlock scheduling history or repair schedules easily-making it simpler to reschedule orders and maintain schedule integrity.

Flexible OData Import
Import data more efficiently by passing dynamic tags (like site or country) in a single OData connection string. You can also set the preferred language for imports, provided your data source supports it, making data management more precise and multilingual

License Management Enhancements
The license dialog now gives clearer feedback, disables the connect button if issues are detected, and only saves settings after a successful connection-reducing errors and making license management smoother.

Usability Upgrades
Daily tasks are faster with a new “clear all filters” icon in the Planner and Sequencer editors, and the resource list in the Calendar Editor now matches the default sorting for easier navigation.
