The all new Model Based Definition is coming soon

NX Model Based Definition (NX MBD) is a new exciting solution in the upcoming December 2020 release of Siemens NX connects engineering and production with breakthrough innovation.

It includes automated rules based authoring of Product & Manufacturing Information (PMI) with an emphasis on capturing key characteristics and knowledge. There is an adviser included that monitors and validates the PMI added, to make sure that downstream applications such as Manufacturing or the new NX Staged Models, that directly consume this information have the correct, accurate information.
