CAD Users Connect, Network and Grow

PLM World.jpgFall is in the air, and you know what that means! It’s time for cozy flannel, warm apple cider, trips to the pumpkin patch… and RUG season for those of us in the United States!

If you haven’t been to a PLM World Regional Users Group meeting before, you need to go. It’s a great opportunity to connect with fellow CAD users and others in the industry. Not to mention this will be your last chance to catch the John Baker show! He retires soon, and you don’t want to miss his session. His passion for NX shines through in an engaging, informative presentation that makes CAD fun for anyone who’s watching.

While at the User Group, you can attend specific tracks dedicated to the product of your choosing, such as NX CAD or Teamcenter, or sit in on whatever topics interest you the most. No matter what sessions you attend, you are sure to hear some useful tips.

My favorite part of the event (aside from meeting some of our NX CAD users in person) is hearing how people in other companies have made great advancements in their own design processes by using our software.

I also love seeing all of the different products that start out as designs in NX CAD. It’s easy to forget that virtually everything—from the door handle on our car to the spoon we eat our cereal with—is designed by someone with a CAD program. Events like these serve as great reminders of all the things you can do with NX CAD.

Be sure to check out the full agenda for the RUG meeting nearest you! We’ll be at locations throughout the United States from now through November:
