See how Aquila Engineering used FEA Software to improve productivity and save tens of thousands of dollars

It’s always good to see engineering companies reaping the benefits of adopting FEA software, like Australia-based Aquila Engineering which lately switched to using Femap with NX Nastran. In a recently published case study, as well as highlighting the typical savings that can be achieved from using simulation software – such as saving time, money and achieving regulatory compliance – Aquila also mentions one more intangible, but important benefit.





As one senior engineer notes, while the use of analysis tools measurably improves the quality of their work, it also gives the engineers more confidence in how they go about tackling challenges for their customers, which comes across in their regular customer interactions. So by using CAE software, they are able to learn more about their own products, and gain a greater engineering insight into the way they behave.
