I came across one of Leslie Langnau’s webinarsentitled “Additive Manufacturing – When will it arrive?” I personally thought it to be a pretty good presentation of where we are. For those of you involved in traditional manufacturing that are wondering about what is going on in the excited world of3D Printing, I’d watch this video below for a calm, objective view:



Issues around STL, materials, accuracy, and questions about the technology are still stumbling points, if not barriers for many in manufacturing.Leslie also raised the point that CAD and design software will need to better consider additive manufacturing in the future.
