Partnering with Siemens, the BorgWarner team implemented Insights Hub and its energy management application, helping to bring visibility to energy usage across the enterprise. The rollout was quick and well-supported—from both a technology and hardware perspective—which made it easier for plants to adopt and expand on the solution themselves.

Looking ahead: expanding the value of digitalization

With the foundational digital infrastructure in place, BorgWarner is now looking to the future. The team is exploring how to expand their use of Siemens Insights Hub beyond sustainability and into broader operational optimization, with AI and data analytics playing a bigger role, while also looking at quality monitoring, predictive maintenance and deeper analytics to drive even more value from the connected operations.
