In a recent demonstration proposed by Siemens, Lucas Romain, Manufacturing Process Consultant, we feature how to use Process Simulate Copilot to streamline the creation of a Path Template, a structured list of standard robot actions used to configure trajectories. During a surfacing operation, the robot tool collided with the part while switching sides. While the user could manually add new locations to avoid collisions, doing this repeatedly was time-consuming. Instead, the user turned to Process Simulate Copilot.
By asking context-specific questions, the engineer received instant assistance from the Copilot, which generated an XML pass template by drawing from the complete Process Simulate documentation. Without writing a single line of code, the user copied the AI-generated XML, tested it in the application, and quickly resolved the issue — saving time and effort.
