Facebook Live Event on Tuesday July 11th – Frontloading CFD: How and Why?

By Robin Bornoff

Performing more thermo-fluids simulation, earlier in a product design process, will mitigate the risks of late stage redesign and the cost/time penalties that come with it. Such CFD ‘frontloading’ requires simulation tools that are developed from the ground up to be used by designers within their mechanical CAD environment, concurrently with changes made to their design. It is with this vision that FloEFD has been developed to meet the digital twin needs of mechanical design engineers.

Matt Milne and I will be discussing frontloading CFD and how FloEFD fits this bill in an interactive live video streaming Facebook event on Tuesday July 11th (time – UK:1330 / Central Europe:1430 / US East Coast:0830). Please join us by following this link and clicking on the ‘Going’ button: http://go.mentor.com/talkfrontloading We’ll be answering questions posed during the event (via Facebook comments) but please feel free to send any questions you might have in advance to: questions_mechanical@mentor.com

Matt and I look forward to talking Frontloading CFD with you next Tuesday!
