One of the things I like best about my job is the privilege of announcing a new Polarion release and revealing the result the efforts of Polarion’s amazing R&D team. The new 2014 release, available now, is the latest-greatest output. Here are the main highlights:

For more details on these new features, see my post Polarion 2014: What’s New & Noteworthy or the release announcement web page.
There’s more…
The release also incorporates many other improvements, requested by our customers, that we implemented in service releases during the past year, and which lead, via our iterative development process, to major releases like version 2014. Here’s a brief summary of what we added in each of the past 3 Service Releases… follow the links for details:
SR1 – Approval Center, Connector for MATLAB® Simulink, more live report templates.
SR2 – Easy Prioritization of Work Items, rich text enhancements, including font selection, font color, and font background color, svn protocol support for improved performance, new diagnostic tool for admins.
SR3 – Test Record attachments, new charting library (HighCharts), LiveDoc find & replace.
Last but not least… just in case you didn’t yet hear the news… we are really thrilled by the recent investment in Polarion Software by Siemens Venture Capital. It’s not related to the 2014 release, but it is, I think, new and worth noting nonetheless.
On behalf of the entire Polarion team, thanks once again for using Polarion solutions!
