Siemens PLM Software hosts Hackathon USA
Siemens PLM Software recently hosted Hackathon USA with over 97 teams participating from six host sites across the country. The U.S.-based Hackathon was open specifically to employees in our Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Lifecycle Collaboration and Technology Office business segments who are located at these host sites.
Our goals of empowering people to freely explore and collaborate on their most creative and exciting ideas for PL, while having fun doing so, were met and exceeded in all ways. The energy, passion and innovation demonstrated by all the participants is inspiring. Many of the participants worked around the clock over 28 hours to achieve outstanding results.
The Manufacturing Engineering Solutions’ NX Manufacturing team was well represented and won the Cypress site competition!
A team from our Milford site won the national competition with a business intelligence and data analytics solution.
