NX Hints and Tips – Creating Helical Shapes

It’s been a while since I posted an NX tutorial video. Let’s look at a more advanced topic, using the Helix and Bridge Curve commands

In this example we will create the thread on an oil filler cap. In General, it’s not a recommended practice to create thread features on standard fasteners.

But in this case we need detailed threads to create a mold.However, we cannot use the NX Thread command, because this is not a standard thread.
