New and Improved Tools and Training to Extend Solid Edge

Every year, leading up to Solid Edge University, we do a developer day just before the kickofffor those that wanting to extend Solid Edge. The big news this year is a whole new set of examples and updated documentation coming with ST6.

If you didn’t know, Solid Edge has an extensive API available to anyone that owns Solid Edge. Just add a bit of Microsoft Visual Studio (the software for writing your own program) and you are ready to roll. For many companies, being able to automating repetitive CAD tasks can greatly speed up the design process.You can also take it to the next level adding functionality that even the real Solid Edge developers haven’t thought of. This is the basis for most of the Solid Edge based products in our Solid Edge Ecosystem.  You can find a few on our Apps page.



Attendees are leaving with a Solid Edge Flash drive stocked full of conference material. The new examples can be found here and we will be putting the documentation online with ST6 as well.  There has never been a better (or easier) time to learn how extend and customize Solid Edge.
