Cowboy Blogging in Dallas

Yeehaa! I’m tying up my PLM Connection presentations like a heard of baby cows and getting ready for the shindig down in Dallas. This ain’t my first rodeo but I’ve got a bit more on my plate than last year. We’ll shoot the bull about what I’ll be doing later.

As many of you know I’m keen on new technology and social media is getting as big as Texas.Luckily, our marketing and social media folks let me play with their electronics if I do some blogging and other things “Social media” on the side. So,I’ll try to lasso some interesting information, pics and anything entertaining I can find during the conference. And remember, this is social media.  You don’t have to be there to talk to me. I can have a picture, video or blog post to your work desk as fast as a Texas running back.

As for “real work”, come down younder to see me at the Solid Edge Simulation presentation Tuesday at 8:30, or even better the Solid Edge Simulation Hands on session Wednesday. Me telling you SE Simulation is easy to use doesn’t carry the same impact as you running it yourself.Big hat, no cattle?  Not me!I’ll also be presenting a session on “Solid Edge Tools that look good in a demo but you don’t use” and an Update on Femap 10.1.1.

I’ll be covering the Solid Edge booth for a few hours Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so this is a good time for a Texas meetup. We can talk social media, Solid Edge or even how to start your own blog or twitter account. Or we can just drink some Arbuckle during the breaks. Network permitting, I could even ustream outvideo with the webcam if you are not in Dallas… in the interest of helping out marketing of course 😉
