Chuck Grindstaff for President

In case you haven’t heard already, we will have some changes in our executive team starting Oct. 1. Our president Helmuth Ludwig is moving to a new role heading up Corporate Communications for Siemens Industry Automation. And our EVP of Products and CTO Chuck Grindstaff has been promoted to president.





Helmuth came to the Siemens PLM organization three years ago. He has helped drive our integration into Siemens while driving us through difficult economic times. He will now head up the newly formed Industry Automation Corporate Communication team. That’s the team I’m a part of too so many of us will still be working closely with Helmuth.



Chuck started with our company originally in 1978. Don’t worry I’m not going to say how old I was then ;-). He left for a while to be president and CEO of Waveframe. He returned in 1994 in a strategic planning role and moved on and up to head up all of our technology and product development.
