New world-class rendering capabilities from KeyShot included with Solid Edge ST7

One of the major announcements at SEU14 was the addition of new, built-in rendering capabilities in Solid Edge ST7, provided by Luxion’s KeyShot® technology. Users will be able to quickly and easily create photorealistic images and animations from within the Solid Edge modeling environment. These new capabilities will provide significant improvement in overall image quality for our Solid Edge users and speed real time photorealistic rendering of Solid Edge and other CAD models by up to five times, based on internal testing. These capabilites will be included with the Classic and Premium levels of Solid Edge ST7 onwards. This significant value-add will make it really attractive for Solid Edge customers to upgrade from the more basic levels of Solid Edge like Foundation so that they can create amazing images of their products.
