First use of Femap by George Laird of Predictive Engineering

A little while ago we announced the Femap 45-day free trial which I mentioned in a previous blog. Today the program continues to run very well and has allowed many people to install and try out Femap for the first time. I recently met with George Laird, principal of the engineering consultancy company Predictive Engineering which is also a part of Siemens PLM partner Applied CAx. George has been using Femap for many years on many and various jobs, and in this video I asked him about how he first used FEA software and what his first Femap projects were.
