New Resources for Mentor PCB Customers

For many of us, this is the second full month of a “work-from-home” transition. While it’s impressive that broad organizations were able to manage this change, we know that remote working may be longer-lived even as some geographies attempt to return to places of work.

Therefore, it is our goal in the Electronics Board Systems (EBS) business unit to ensure that our PCB solutions customers remain as productive as possible as many of us continue to operate remotely.

Following are relevant resources to consider:

Learning resources. We have extended our free on-demand training courses. Several users have commented that access to this resource has improved their team productivity. Please click here to learn more.

Tips and Tricks on YouTube. We have developed a series of quick reference videos posted on YouTube that may give you some usability tips of various design tasks in Xpedition.

Cloud-Ready on AWS. Today we introduced our new cloud webpage highlighting the qualification of both Xpedition and PADS Professional as ready for deployment on customer-managed AWS environments. Learn more

Virtual Realize Live. The North America Siemens user-group has transitioned to a virtual event being held on June 23 and 24. This event will include a PCB solutions track where some of our key customers will be presenting their experiences. In addition I will be presenting insight into our investments and initiatives related to supporting digital transformation. More information on this event, including an overview of a mainstage presentation from Christopher Cain, VP and GM, Keysight Technologies, Electronic Industrial Products, will be available soon. Please click here to learn more or register.

For our Customers:

Knowledge-base for remote use of Mentor PCB products. We have expanded our knowledge base article to cover topics related to EDM and general performance information. Please go to KB article MG6069729 on SupportCenter.

Customer Productivity Webinars. Our support organization holds monthly webinars to ensure that users of Xpedition, PADS, and HyperLynx get the most out of their investments.  View upcoming webinars:

Obviously safety is our top priority, but as we are now getting accustomed to the remote workplace, we want to ensure that you and your organizations have the resources required. If you have questions or comments, please feel free to contact your account team, customer support, or to reach out to us directly at pcb_response@mentor.com and we will do our best to address specific needs or recommendations.

Thank you in advance for your continued support and looking forward to all of us being able to meet in-person in the near future.

Sincerely,

AJ Incorvaia

Senior VP, Mentor, a Siemens Business, Electronics Board System
