Siemens AM Summit at Formnext Connect 2020

As we’re all getting used to in 2020, the world has gone virtual, and Formnext 2020 is no exception. Siemens traditionally participates in the Formnext conference in a big way and we are continuing that trend this year.

This year, Formnext is going virtual with Formnext CONNECT. As a replacement for the normal expo, they are using a matching system called GRIP to match customers with companies. Basically, you choose categories of interest, and the system will match you with companies that service those interests. You can find us using the Formnext GRIP system by expressing interest in the following areas:

  • Design/Product Development
  • Digitization/Services/Tool and Die Making
  • Materials
  • Solutions for Additive Manufacturing
  • Solutions for Component Processing

Furthermore, Siemens is running our own parallel event called the Siemens Additive Manufacturing Summit at Formnext 2020. This will be a more traditional virtual conference with presenters across the additive manufacturing industry from Siemens, our partners, and our customers. Sessions will discuss Siemens products, but also what various companies are doing with additive, the challenges they’ve experienced, and the solutions they’ve developed.

You can sign up for the Siemens Additive Manufacturing Summit at Formnext 2020 here:

We sincerely hope to see you at either the official Formnext Connect event or at our own Siemens AM Summit. Please join us as we work together with our partners to industrialize additive manufacturing so companies across the world can design and print quality parts at scale.

Ashley Eckhoff

I've been with Siemens for over two decades, during which time I've met with many customers who also became friends, nurtured products through their lifecycle, learned and forgot more than I care to admit, reinvented myself several times over, and had a ton of fun in the process.
