Greenpower China Launch ceremony at Beijing Auto Museum on 9th April
Greenpower China is supported by China Automotive Engineering Research Institute (CAERI) as Industry Partner, Siemens PLM Software as Technology Partner and with full support from Beijing Dongcheng District school authority.Initially 29 schools (Technology Model Schools ranging from various primary schools/high schools/vocational schools) will participate in Greenpower China Education program.
Students taking part in Greenpower China Challenge will work as a team to design, build and race an electric car according to Greenpower rules and regulations.
6 schools (5 primary schools, 1 vocational high school) showcased their work during Greenpower China launch event.
A student representative said: ”we were working as a team to solve problems, it’s great experience.”
Through Greenpower China program, more and more students will learn what teamwork is and also use software and technology to design and build their Greenpower car.
