Siemens gives students free access to Simcenter STAR-CCM+ training course
Did you know that as a student, you can gain free access to training courses on Siemens products like STAR-CCM+ and more through Siemens Xcelerator Academy?
The Siemens Xcelerator Academy portal gives you access to hundreds of hours of on-demand training. Move at your own pace with short lessons and diverse course activities as you explore a vast library of content—perfect for learning software like Simcenter STAR-CCM+.
Currently, Siemens Xcelerator Academy offers 23 courses related to Simcenter STAR-CCM+ for university students and faculty for free. Take courses on the fundamentals, heat transfer and Eulerian multiphase modeling all from the comfort of your own home and at your own pace.
How to gain access to Siemens Xcelerator Academy
In order to access the courses, you need to sign up for a Siemens Xcelerator Academy. If you’re a student, you can gain access for free. Follow along with the steps in the below video or in the instructions here.
Once you’ve logged into your Siemens Xcelerator Academy account, navigate to “My Libraries” section and select Simcenter STAR-CCM+ as the product to view related training courses.
Take your time going through the content, as your work is saved each time you use the platform. You can also download the course resources to your device, so you can complete labs along with the course.
